Larry Lopez Obituary
Larry J. Lopez, born December 16, 1964, in San Antonio, TX, entered eternal rest on June 12, 2015, at the age of 50. He was a very caring person who adored his daughter, Cilla. He graduated from Thomas Edison High School and worked for Meals on Wheels. He was a huge fan of the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys and WWE Raw. He also loved to cook. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Lopez; brother, Anthony V. Lopez. He is loved and will be greatly missed by his daughter, Priscilla "Cilla" M. Lopez; step-daughter, Stephanie A. Medina; brothers, Eric S. Lopez and Patrick S. Lopez; and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Procession will depart from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015, for an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.

It is hard to believe that you have been gone from this earth for 7-years now. My prayer for us is that we remember the good times with Larry, and take comfort that he is with our God and Savior Jesus Christ. One day we will be with our God and with all our love ones too.
When I visit my mother, I drive down Summit Street and remember Larry and the good times.

Larry, my childhood friend of Summit Street. While at Agnes Cotton Elementary School and Mark Twain Junior HS, I remember the many times we played football, basketball or board games with Ricky Cristan and John Rice. You were always a gentle and good friend.
I am glad your suffering is over and you are now with Jesus.
