Leola Burris Obituary
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and great grandmother. She loved life, tending to her flowers, playing bingo, going to casinos, and especially visiting with her grandchildren. Dottie graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1950 and then worked as a secretary for several labor unions including IBEW Local #60 until retirement. After retiring she volunteered at Southeast Baptist Hospital until she moved to her new home in Adkins.
Preceded in death by husband, Grover Burris, Jr., and survived by her daughter Diane Stock, son Grover Burris III and Connie, grandchildren Justin Farris and Valerie, Heather Moore and Jay, April Malinak and Mike, Curtis Stock and Kassidy, and eight beautiful great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, 10:00 A.M. with Funeral Service starting at 11:00 A.M. Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with interment to follow in Mission Burial Park South.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Riverside Baptist Church, 111 Topeka Blvd., San Antonio, Texas, 78210.
