Linda Michelson Obituary

September 22, 1948 - May 30, 2015
Linda Diane (Moore) Michelson (Sept. 22, 1948 - May 30, 2015) of Hamilton Township, New Jersey, passed away after a brief illness. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Diane attended Jefferson High School and then San Antonio College where with her major in Music studied organ and voice and sang in the Collegiate Chorale. She continued her musical studies at Baylor University and later attended The University of Texas, pursuing her interest in Library Science. In 1976 she married Mr. Bliss Michelson, a contrabass musician in the San Antonio Symphony. She was employed in various libraries of the Princeton University system for almost 23 years. Always a cat fancier, she enjoyed showing American Shorthair Silver Tabbies in competitions. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mildred Rebecca (Linder) Moore. A loving, compassionate person, Diane was a true and supportive friend who will be missed dearly. Donations may be made to the Humane Society or charity of your choice. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 24, 10:00 AM, at Roselawn Memorial Park, 1735 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX. Rev. Michael Passmore, senior minister of Central Christian Church, will be officiating.
