Linda H. Moncada, age 75 loving mother of four, Mom Linda, "Grandma Linda", Mother-in-Law, Aunt, Sister, and adoring wife to Joe Moncada Jr., took her walk to Heaven in the early morning hours of Tuesday June 27th after a tremendous and courageous battle of many illnesses of multiple years. "Mom" was born in San Antonio in 1948. "Mom" grew up in San Antonio surrounded by many family members who through their experiences and those of her own, influenced "Mom" to be a loving, caring, take charge, but tough lessons teaching woman. Despite her small stature her presence has and will always be the strongest in the room. She met Joe Moncada Jr. "Dad" in 1973 and despite both being of different worlds, they quickly fell in love with each other. Mom and Dad knew their love for family and began the journey of starting their own. Mom and Dad have been side by side 51 years. In Mom's free time she enjoyed reading scripture "as her bible's show multiple notes", Family gatherings, spending time and spoiling her grandson Samuel, watching Lifetime AFV Game Shows, and talking to her husband and pets every day. "Mom", "LEENDA", Grandma Linda, will be greatly missed by her friends and family especially her sons Robert, Eddie, and Joe; her daughters Vivian and Aracely; her grandson Samuel and her husband Joe "Dad", Grandpa Joe who will adore her always with all their hearts. "We know that we can't have you, but we're happy knowing that Jesus and all his angels have you back" We'll see you again my friend, teacher, grandmother, mom, and wife.

Services
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Brookehill Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm with the Holy Rosary to begin at 6:30pm.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 10am, followed by interment at San Fernando Cemetery III.
