Lloyd Rivera Obituary
Lloyd Anthony Rivera, born in San Antonio Texas on September 18, 1986 was the second son, fourth child of Alice Jane Garza and Francisco P. Rivera II, the ever respectful grandson of Francis Rivera, nephew of Jesse Rivera loyal brother to Francisco and Estella Garza, Jessica Rivera and Antonio Rios. Referred to by those who loved him as "Possie", he excelled in expanding his knowledge and understanding of auto and cycle mechanics to become a reputable freelanced technician, providing beautifully rebuilt motorcycles for enthusiasts from San Antonio to Atascosa. Possie was also the loving father of five year old daughter Isabella Rodriguez, the faithful fiancée of Jessica Murillo, the proud uncle of 12 nieces and nephews, and The Heart of the Rivera-Garza-Rios Family, providing the life's blood needed to unite three proud and respected households. Possie contributed to the success of Alicia's Tacos, assisting his mother in fulfilling her entrepreneurial dreams of owning and operating her own food service establishment, and was always the first to assist his oldest sister Jessica Rivera in assisting their ailing father with anything he needed. Possie met his fate in a fatal motorcycle accident on April 21, 2010 at approximately 2:20am at age 23 doing what he loved. Effortlessly capturing the hearts of all those around him, Possie was just that, all heart, and he will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. and Monday, April 26, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.

Hi friend,its been three months and 11 days since you passed away and i still cant get over the fact that your gone.I've been thinking about you lately like crazy.Every time i see or hear a bike,i always think its you.This year has been a real heartache for me,i lost my grandpa,you,my friend Rita and just lost my cuzn last week. but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.

because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

So,today was your burial.Boy was it hard for all of us,especially your mother.It's not easy letting go,especially when you don't want too,which is why we stayed friends until this day.I remember when you were 17 you came knocking at my door everyday @ 4pm for about a week straight trying to talk to me,but they always said i was asleep.Finally,when you were about to give up i came to the door and talked to you,my point is,that im glad i opened that door,had i not,i wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet such an amazing good hearted young man like yourself.You're one of a kind,theirs not too many young men like you,but like i said god only takes the best and you are the best.Bye my angel i will never forget you....<3

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
