Margaret I.Flores Obituary

October 27, 1944 - September 5, 2014
Margaret I. Flores, born on October 27, 1944, went home to the Lord on September 5, 2014 at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her father Patrick Hernandez, step-father Joe Hernandez and mother Consuelo Hernandez. Survivors include her beloved husband Pedro Flores, daughters Mary Diaz and Patricia Black, son Samuel Flores, sisters Josie Bermea and Mary Jane Zorola, brothers Fred Hernandez and Albert Hernandez, 10 grandchildren Marissa, Marlyn, Bobby, Tristan, Diego, Robby, Gabi, Damian, Kyan, Aidan , 1 great-grandchild Abel and many loving family members and numerous friends. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with a procession from the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South. Margaret was a loving mother, exceptional conversationalist, writer, painter, and keen observer of life and people. With quiet intelligence and unique humor she proudly served her church, city and family with grace and style. Margaret, we love you.
