I am so sorry to hear about his passing. He was such a great person, I am a neighbor and always saw him playing with his grandkids outside being active with them. He was such a nice man. Truly sorry to hear about to his passing.

After college graduation in 1975, I got my first job at Speedy Printing Service, where Marshall worked. I'm still in touch with the Manager, Bob Rohrig, but I lost touch with Marshall a long, long time ago. Every now and then I'd search Facebook or online listings for graphic arts companies in San Antonio, but I never managed to locate him--until yesterday when I came across this obituary. I'm sixty-eight years old, married, and now living in Calgary, AB but Marshall is the kind of person you don't forget. I'm so glad to see what a great life he had and so sorry to know that he's no longer living. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family. --Nita Lou (Ellis) Bryant

Clarisa, I will always remember when you were learning how to drive. Your dad would be waiting for you in his car to follow you all the way home after our midnight shifts ended to make sure you got home safe. That's the best show of his fatherly love toward you. May God give you and your family the strength you need in this difficult time.

Marshall was a great friend of mine when I was growing up in San Antonio. Possibly the greatest time together was when we were growing up was the creation of the Garage Band! I will always keep him in my thoughts! My prayers to all of the family!

We give you our deepest condolences to the Hernandez family. We are the aunt and uncle of Alfred and Clarissa. Although we didn't know Marshall personally, we had the pleasure of meeting him through his daughter Clarissa. He was a very nice man and quiet when we got together at family events. He raised a wonderful daughter and we are glad we had the pleasure of meeting him. Gloria and Albert Saldivar.
