Marshall Lasswell Obituary

Marshall Elmer Lasswell passed away on January 7, 2023.

Born on December 2, 1927, he was a lifelong resident of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jo, his parents Marshall Montgomery and Mina Lasswell and his sister Marian Aaronson.

Elmer graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and was a Fightin' Texas Aggie '49 with a degree in Animal Husbandry. This inspired two subsequent generations to become members of the Corps of Cadets and graduates of Texas A & M.

An independent and free spirit, he was a lifelong rancher in Comal and Kendall counties.

He is survived by his son Marshall White Lasswell (Whitey) and wife, Dolores, along with grandsons Marshall D. Lasswell and wife, Kimberly and Matthew T. Lasswell and wife, Brookes.

He is also survived by great grandchildren Levi, Adaline, Gannon, Watson, Merritt, Hayes and Gus and several nephews and nieces.

The family is greatly appreciative for the patience and attention extended by the caregivers of both the BTR at the Forum and VITAS Hospice.

A private family service and interment will be held at a later date.
