Martin Rosales Obituary

ROSALES
Martin E. Rosales, Sr. born October 25, 1938 passed from this life on April 19, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Mr. Rosales is preceded in death by his first wife, Anita P. Rosales; daughter, Gloria Ann Rosales; and step son Luis "Beto" Garza. Martin is survived by his loving wife, Esperanza Rosales; his son, Martin Rosales, Jr. (Irma); his daughters, Cynthia Mauricio (Alfred), Natalie Beene (Fred), Gloria Talamantez (Ben), and Yvette Rosales; step daughter, Arlene Araiza; step son, Homer Garza; step grandchild, Homer "Bobby" Garza cousins that were raised as siblings, Jovita Rodriguez, Joe Molina, Elvira Gornall, Eustolia, and Antonio Molina; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Mr. Rosales served his country proudly as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from civil service at Kelly Air Force Base, and was a parishioner of St. Henry's Catholic Church for 50 years. Martin was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Services:
Visitation will be held Tuesday April 22, 2014 from 4pm-8pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:30. A mass of resurrection will be held 10am at St. Henry's Catholic Church and interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2 with military honors.
