Mary Centeno Obituary

CENTENO
Mary Louise Centeno, 86, went to be with her heavenly Father on July 28, 2009. She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and was the seventh child of her late parents: Jesus and Felicia Buquor Hernandez. Her parents had 15 wonderful, talented children, 6 of Jesus and Felicia's children have joined them in heaven. Mary Louise is survived by 4 loving sisters, and 5 loving brothers, all who share countless memories. Love and devotion to her eight children, and her late husband Eugene Centeno, Sr. who is from the Original Centeno Family of San Antonio, Texas was always Mary Louise first priority. Her children will always remember her wit, beautiful smile and endless energy and loving spirit. She was a wonderful Mother. Mary Louise also worked in several Children Care Centers, and she retired from the San Antonio Independent School District. She is survived by her devoted children: Eugene Centeno, Jr; Rebecca C. Garza and husband Francisco Garza, M.D.; Ernest J. Centeno and wife Barbara Baran Centeno; Daniel E. Centeno and wife Anita C. Centeno; Martha A. Centeno; George A. Centeno, Sr. and wife Marta Sosa Centeno; Gilbert A. Centeno, Sr. and wife Norma G. Centeno; Robert R. Centeno. Mary Louise was blessed with 18 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. We have peace in knowing that Mom was entrusted to God's everlasting care.
