Jane was born in Bryan, Texas to Buddy and Myrle Hamburg. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1963 and moved to San Antonio where she met and married the love of her life, Don Eickenroht. She worked as an escrow agent officer at Alamo Title for many years and also volunteered as an ambassador for Continental Airlines.
Janes family and friends were especially important to her. She always took care of their needs before her own. Her love, care, and generosity towards others truly defined her life.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents Buddy and Myrle (Dawson) Hamburg and her brother Ronnie. Survivors include her stepson Mike, granddaughter Kacie, great grandson Arlo, four sisters: Joyce Tate, Becky Gopffarth, Judy Cass (Paul), and Wanda Lavender. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24th at Heritage Oaks Mortuary in San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral services are at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25th at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel. Graveside burial and fellowship to follow.
