I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Mary's passing. So many memories of her singing at the many functions we attended at church or at someones home. Memories of her, Mom and Aunt Lee having coffee, sewing or just visiting (or course, Jamil, Joan and Jean and I tagged along). Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Much love to you all, Rose Ann (Andry)Cowan

To my cousins, Donald, Rosemary, and brothers, I am so sad to hear Aunt Mary has passed, or as Mom called her Mary Shikra. I always felt so lucky that she and Uncle Mike were my Godparents, and have many wonderful memories of all the times we had when we were little. You may not know this, but my favorite memory of Aunt Mary was that she had such little feet, like a size 5 or something, and she used to bring me her old shoes to let me play dress up, because they weren't as big as Mom's or Aunt Gene's! I absolutely felt so special because of that! I loved both your parents and will be thinking of all of you with love and good wishes. Love you, Suzie (Andry Botello) in Flagstaff, AZ.
