Veronica Banks, 61, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away peacefully at home on September 24th, 2025, with her children and family by her side, after a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer.
She will be remembered for her firecracker spirit, her bravery in every challenge, and her deep love for her family. She delighted in the holidays, especially Christmas, and brought warmth and light to every gathering.
Veronica is survived by her three children; Eric Banks, Roneisha Thomas, and Monay Bember, all of Bridgeport; four siblings, Daren Banks, April Banks, & James Banks of Bridgeport, CT and Dawn Banks of West Haven, CT; three nieces, Latisha Rodriguez, Octavia Carter (Tysaan, Sr.), and Kayelee Morriar (Sigmund, Jr.); and 8 special great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on October 10, 2025 at 11a.m. at Lester Gee Funeral Home on 1390 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Family and friends may view at the funeral home from 10a.m. until time of service. Interment will be held in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
