Matthew Rodriguez Obituary
Matthew Rodriguez, born on November 7, 1997, passed away on August 1, 2010, at the age of 12. He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Maria Olga Lugo Rodriguez; uncle: Raymond L. Rodriguez; sister: Aimee Nadine Morales. Survivors include his loving mother: Sabrina L. Rodriguez; siblings: Samantha Ann Rodriguez, Emily Giselle Bermea; brother in-law: John Estrada; nephews: John Jr. and Luis Estrada; maternal grandparents: Richard Rodriguez, Geronima Ortiz; great grandmother: Natividad Lugo; aunt: Natalie Marie Lugo; cousin: Tommy Villarreal; uncle: John Rodriguez; and other loving family members. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at the M.E. Rodriguez Funeral Home, from 12:00pm until 9:00pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 11:00am for an 11:30am Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Wildflower Cemetery. The family is accepting donations at Security Service Federal Credit Union under the Matthew Rodriguez tribute fund. Services under the direction of the M.E. Rodriguez Funeral Home.

I remember when i was in 5th grade matthew was in 4th, i would always open the car door for him and emily he would always greet me with a big hug. When I moved up to 7th grade matthew was in 6th grade such a friendly boy who basically loved everyone he met. If he ever dropped his things that were in his backpack i would hurry and help him pick it up even if I was going to be late. He will be missed at Neff and everywhere else his happieness was spread.

Matthew was my little brother that I loved with
all my heart. I had alot of good years with him and will never forget them. I know he's in his kingdom in Heavan making all the angels laugh as he did with us,he loved the crowd but now he has the biggest audience he could ever imagine.

God bless this family in this time of lost.I will remember Matthew as a student at Glen Oaks Elem.Matthew would ask very kindly if we had strawberry milk available in the cafeteria and if we would run out that day the next day we would make sure the next day we would put one aside just for him with his name on it.Matthew would be so happy when he received his strawberry milk.A student that will be very missed.God Bless Matthew soul,Matthew will always have a memory of him living on in each of our hearts.
