Melissa Harbert Obituary
Melissa Kay Harbert born on December 3, 1977 went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2014 at the age of 36. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John C. Schneider Jr, Barbara C. Schneider and William M. Harbert; brother, William E. Harbert. She is survived by her parents, Gary Harbert and wife, Cindy and Karen Davis and husband David; wife, Debra Barrientos; grandmother, Helen Harbert; brothers, Richard L. Harbert and wife Dawn, Walter S. Hodge and wife Tracey, Franklin J. Hodge and wife Tiffany, Michael L. Hodge and wife Pepper, and Houston Davis; sisters, Desiree McDonald and Anita Hodge; uncles, John C Schneider III and wife Lora and Danny Harbert, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and friend to many. Melissa was a Past Matron of Prospect Hill Chapter #817 OES. She was a Majority Member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls and Job's Daughters International. She was self-employed and loved her work serving as a massage therapist at Jefferson Outreach. Her presence in our lives will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. A Chapel Service will be held today Wednesday May 28, 2014 at 10:30 AM in the Hillcrest Chapel. Arrangements with

I'm late in learning this news. Melissa was bright & like a bunch of sunrays. For a time I was one of her massage clients for my arthritis pain. She drove far & even carried the hot rocks with their heater. She was generous & kind. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Dear Debbie,
I don't know if things happen for a reason or if they happen by chance. Remember that no matter the reason, she's an angel looking out for you and for all of those she loved.
I am thankful to have spent some time with her after many years of not seeing her. It was truly a blessing in disguise.
