Michael Patrick Killelea, age 52, passed away November 3, 2010. He was born on September 17, 1958 in San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret "Peggy" Killelea and is survived by his father, Michael C. Lillelea; brothers, Timothy Kevin Lillelea, Kevin Michael Killelea; aunt, Patricia K. Springer. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Friday, November 12, 2010 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Road. Mike: Francis Rothman called us tonight regarding the loss of your son Michael.I looked up the IJ and saw that the service was tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have to be down in LA.

I attended St. Raphael's and Marin Catholic with Mike. He was a year ahead of me. I also worked with him at Tijuana Taco in high school. He was very dedicated and a hard worker. I was always goofing off at work with my buddies but he really took the job seriously and wanted to do good. And he did. He was a model worker. I think he thought some of the stuff we used to pull at work was pretty crazy and, it was. We got him to smile and laugh quite a bit with our antics and that's what it's really all about. My condolences to the family. He was a good guy.

I was so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. My family grew up only a few houses up from Mike's in the Glenwood neighborhood of San Rafael, Ca. & our families did many, many things together over the years.
