October 22, 1970 - January 26, 2016
Minerva Alvarado Salazar, born on October 22, 1970 in Othello, Washington, was called to be with the Lord on January 26, 2016 at the age of 45. She is survived by her loving husband, Roland Salazar; daughter, Valerie Marotta; parents Modesta Gonzales and Manuel C. Alvarado; sisters, Nora Elia Macias (Daniel Macias), Rose M. Prado; brother, Jesus Manuel Alvarado Jr.; also numerous nieces and nephews. Minerva will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory be eternal.

The visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm., Friday, January 29, 2016 at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave., San Antonio, TX 78212 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

The Funeral procession will depart from Porter Loring Mortuary on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at San Fernando Cathedral, 115 Main Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78205. Interment to follow in First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 State Hwy 16 S., Von Ormy, TX 78073. You are invited to sign the guestbook at www.porterloring.com.
