Nanette Clark Obituary

Nanette Berry Clark, age 81; beloved wife, mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2002. Nanette was born in Palestine, Texas. She was a graduate of Rice University. She was valedictorian of Milby High School in Houston, TX. She was a recipient of the American Legion Award. She was an active member of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church where she served on the board and was a member of the Disciple Bible Study group. She was an active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood for over 50 years, and was currently a member of Chapter A.L., where she held many offices, including President. Mrs. Clark is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Stanley T. N. Clark; daughter, Nancy Clark Mota and husband, Alex, daughter Alix Clark Harrington and husband Brian; grandchildren, Cynthia Mota Swanson and husband, Brian, Timothy Clark Harrington and Jonathan Clark Mota. The family will receive visitors at Porter Loring Thursday 7 to 9 P.M. SERVICES FRIDAY 11: 00 A.M. ALAMO HEIGHTS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH The Rev. Scott R. Heare officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Harrington, Alex Mota, Timothy Harrington, Jonathan Mota, Brian Swanson and Col. Phillip E. Curtis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gen. Harry J. Huff II, Gen. N. T. Jaco, Richard N. Pace, Larry Kephart, John Keppler, John Lindsey, and David Adams. Those who desire may make memorial contributions to the Alamo Heights United Methodist Church Organ Fund, or the American Cancer Society. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in the guest book at www.porterloring.com by selecting the Sign and View Family Guestbook icon. Interment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
