Ora De Salme Obituary

Ora Louise De Salme, Born February 17, 1907, in Cuero, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2005, in Castroville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Jacob De Salme and her son, Charles (Popeye) De Salme and four grandsons, Thomas De Salme, Robert De Salme, Mark De Salme and Randy De Salme. She is survived by five daughters, Mary Louise Owen and husband, Norman, Barbara Zeinert and husband, Frank, Marilyn Zeman and husband Mike, Linda Herweck and Carolyn Peoples; two sons, Jack De Salme and wife Betty and Billy De Salme and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Ora spent most of her life in Atascosa, Texas. She spent twelve years at the Christian Village Apartments in San Antonio prior to moving to Castroville. She was a source of inspiration to her family for her strength in handling whatever life brought her way. She was one tough little lady. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by so many. SERVICE A celebration of her life will be Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at 3:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with Pastor Jim Ryan officiating.
