Otis Wilder Obituary

WILDER
MSgt Otis V. Wilder, Jr. born October 16, 1929 in Trenton, Texas died in San Antonio, October 1, 2009. Served in the Army during the Korean War then joined the Air Force. Served in numerous state side locations including Iceland, Philippines and Thailand. Otis served as First Sgt., Wing Sgt. Major and Senior Drill Instructor before retiring from Lackland Air Force Base. Preceded in death by his son, David Wilder, he is survived by his wife of 59 years the former Mildred Bench; son Mark Wilder and wife Connie Wilder; grandchildren Michelle Wilder, Tamera Wilder, Ericka Wilder and great granddaughter, Kaylee. Services are Tuesday October 6, 2009 at Castle Ridge Mortuary at 12:00 noon with burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
