Paige Snyder Obituary
Paige Nicole Snyder of San Antonio, Texas passed from this world into the arms of her Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2011 after an almost two year battle with leukemia. Paige was born on December 8, 1993 in Harlingen, Texas. She leaves behind her parents, Robert and Beatriz Snyder, six siblings: Brooke Snyder, Roger Vela, Justin Snyder, Ashley Ochoa, Ryan Snyder, and Jennifer Snyder; maternal grandfather, Placido Ramirez; paternal grandmother, Mollie Snyder; uncle Ron Snyder, uncle and aunt Tom and Nona Snyder, uncle and aunt Mike and Marybeth Snyder, uncle and aunt Hector & Annette Ramirez, uncle JR Ramirez, uncle and aunt Juan & Gloria Ramirez , uncle Ramiro Ramirez and many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Celia Ramirez and her paternal grandfather, Ronald Snyder. Paige was an energetic, fun-loving teenager who attended James Madison High School in 2008 and 2009 until her diagnosis. Paige loved to sing and was part of the High School dance team. Her great people skills and bright smile would brighten every room she entered. She is remembered as a confident, out spoken young lady who was loved by everyone. Her life goal became to help others in her situation thus making her a favorite in the hospitals where she stayed. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held today , Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 10 a.m. at New Vision Community Church of the Nazarene 14515 O'Connor Road, San Antonio, Texas 78247. Officiating the service will be Pastor David Amos of New Vision Community Church and Pastor Sean Azzaro of River City Community Church.

I never got to meet Paige but felt like I knew her so well through her precious Mom. It was difficult to accept the loss but after much prayer, realized that although not present, Paige will always live in our hearts. She left such a bold imprint in our hearts and will always feel honored to have been included in Paige's life. Snyder family, you will still be included in my prayers. Embrace all your memories with Paige to help bring comfort in appreciating that although she lived a short life, she filled your hearts for a lifetime.

Bea and Bobby, after praying with you and for you for over a year, it was such an honor and priviledge to finally meet your beautiful family at the Relay for Life event. Finally we had a face to go with the name. And oh how that night changed all of our lives. I cried as we drove home that night -- the love that God placed in my heart that night was overwhelming! Paige looked absolutely beautiful and at peace....her spirit will live on and she will continue to be an amazing testimony through those that she touched. It is a great accomplishment to the Snyder's to have raised a God fearing and God loving daughter....alas, at the end of her fight, she finally heard those words that we all long to hear...."Well done my good and faithful servant."
