Patricia Owens Obituary

September 4, 1939 - June 2, 2015
Patricia Tarvin Owens, beloved Mom and Gramma, went home to be with her Lord on June 2nd 2015 in her home, loved and surrounded by her family. She was born Patricia Lynn Richey in Indianapolis, Indiana and was raised in Paris, Illinois by her Gramma in a tiny two-bedroom house with two aunts, four brothers, a wood stove for heat, a manual pump for water, and an outhouse, but also gardens full of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh air, lakes and streams, and big trees, her beloved nature. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Tarvin and Teresa Tarvin, her grandsons Ivan Ennis, Isaac Ennis, Christopher Blackard, and Jason Blackard, and her sons-in-law Robert Blackard and Randy Ennis. Words cannot express how much we all love and miss her. A private family memorial and celebration of her life was held June 15th at McCauley Baptist Church in San Antonio, TX. A later family celebration of her life will be held to scatter her ashes at one of her favorite places, the beach.
