Patricia "Granny" Rawlings Tarr age 76 years entered rest on Oct.7, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas . She is preceded in death by a sister Frances Rawlings and is survived by daughters Danita Anderson (B.R.), Sue Llanas (Gabe), and Jill Tarr, sons Schott Tarr (Barbie), and Mike Tarr (Eileen) grandchildren, Amanda, Nicole, Jennifer, Gabriel , Jake , Josh , Kyle, Haley, Aaron, Michael, Jessica, Crystal, Kenny, Dawn, and Mark, great-grandchildren Gabe, Sarah, Bailee, Lily, Adrian, Isaak, Isaiah, Megan, Heather, Paige, Hunter, and Peyton, Great-great-grandchildren Conner and Kaden. Commital service and burial will be on Thurs. Oct. 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Burial Park North Cemetery. The funeral service will be held directly afterwards at Oxford United Methodist Church at 9655 Huebner San Antonio, Tx. 78240 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Oxford United Methodist Church.

Schott, Barbie, Aaron, Jessica, Jill, and Rest of Family,
I'm so sorry Pat's body gave out before Her Spirit did. I have already missed her immensely. She, as her family too, was a very special person whose sweetness and faith touched me all the time as it did all who knew or just met her. The front row or so has seemed incomplete of a fine lady already. I'm so glad that we all know she is in a finer place where her Spirit will soar and not be limited by her earthly physical form. Pat always had a smile, a hug, and even a laugh every time I encountered her. She will be so thoroughly missed but her influence will continue in her family via blood, law, church, or other group. She will be sorely missed. Find peace and even joy in His love, comfort, strength and hands.
