Patricia F. Temple went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at the age of 93. Pat was born in San Antonio on Monday, February 1st, 1932 and lived most her life here. She was an independent, determined entrepreneur at a time when it was not easy for a woman to successfully run a business of her own. Her expertise in accounting in the oil and gas industry as well as her genuine love of people and spirit of giving, afforded her lifelong clients and friendships.
Having grown up in a large family of 7 children during the depression, Pat learned to love the Lord and demonstrate His love by always remembering to love one another through life's many trials. Church, family and friends were the center of her world. It gave her great joy to give of herself, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand. She was active in Trinity Baptist Church for many years, then became a founding member of Fellowship of San Antionio where she was an integral part of the land purchase, groundbreaking and accounting of the new, young church. She remained active and proudly served as a deacon before withdrawing due to health issues.
She was preceded in death by her husband William O. Temple, her parents Brenner B. and Jamie H. Fox and her 4 sisters, Margaret Hartley, Betty Casarez, Virginia Baertich, and Blanch Sexauer. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Gunn, cherished granddaughter; Lauren Wegner and husband Chris Mumme, great-granddaughters; Freya Lynn and Elizabeth Marie, her stepson; William H. Temple, grandson; Scot Temple, brothers; John B. Fox and James B. Fox and nieces and nephews too numerous to name. All of you were greatly cherished and loved by your Aunt Patsy.
Her memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park on Austin Hwy. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Samaritan's Purse or a charity of your choice.
