Dear Paul, we were so saddened by the news of your quick passing, as well as not being able to see you to tell you what we know have to say here.
Our friend Paul, you are truly an amazing and blessed soul, and friend. We were fortunate enough to know you for almost 6 years. In that time I also had the opportunity to volunteer with you through The St Vincent de Paul Society for a short while. And it was there that your good works and loving and charitable soul shone bright, just as bright as your smile.
Charlie and I are truly humbled to be considered your friends, and as friends you invited us into your home and the lives of both you and your wife Judy.
we have great and fun memories of get togethers to reflect on to remember you by.
We pray that you now enter into a restful and peaceful sleep.
To Judy Ellsworth and the Ellsworth family we send our heartfelt sympathy and condolences.

Dear Judy and all members of the Ellsworth family,

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my most sincere condolences to the Ellsworth family over the loss of your beloved husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. It was my special privilege to serve initially with Paul as a fellow officer in the U.S. Army Medical Department and later as a highly respected colleague in the School of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Paul's outgoing personality, eternal sense of optimism and love of life were recognized and appreciated by all who knew him. May he rest in peace and may eternal light shine upon him.

With profound sorrow,

Jim Van Straten
