Paul Monroe McDougall, 86, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2025. He was born November 29, 1938, at Nix Hospital in San Antonio. Paul was a devoted husband to his wife of 65 years, Gloria Stuebing McDougall, and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. A proud Army veteran, business owner, and a born-again Christian, Paul shared his strong faith by teaching Bible study and serving his community through leadership roles in many local clubs and associations.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bess McDougall; sons, Patrick McDougall and Mark McDougall; brother, George "Barney" McDougall; and great-grandchildren Lane Werre and Arly Werre.
Paul is survived by his wife Gloria; son Lance (Patricia); grandchildren Allison Werre (Richard), Alexandria "Lexie" Sinatra (Stephen), Cameron McDougall (Alexis), Lindsey McDougall, Caitlin Longoria (Joseph), Samuel McDougall, Daniel McDougall, and Andrew McDougall; and great-grandchildren Jacob and Isaiah Sinatra, Odin, Cora, and Lark Werre.
Paul will be remembered for his faith, service, and devotion to family. A service will be held for him at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on October 9, 2025 at 10:15 am in Shelter 3.
