Pedro Zamarripa Obituary

ZAMARRIPA
Pedro Reymundo Zamarripa born on August 8, 1986 went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2010 at the age of 23 years. His love for cars and their modifications along with his love for computers was only surpassed by his love for family and friends. Victim of a drunk driver; taken the same way his brother was four years earlier, his name and memory will live on forever through the efforts of his friends and family who will seek endlessly to erase these types of injustices. The further tragedy is that he was on his way to becoming one of Texas' educators and those children whose lives he would have touched are now at a loss. He is survived by his beloved parents Pedro and Christi Zamarripa; grandfather Santos Rodriguez; grandmother Andrea Beltran; sister Carolina Zamarripa; brother Pedro Zamarripa, Jr.; fiancée Lisa Molina; his nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Zamarripa and all the friends and families who share this great loss,
You are all in my prayers. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Pedro, but he was loved very much by part of my family. It breaks my heart when things like this happen and I cannot imagine what you are going through right now, as I am a parent too. But I can say that Pedro and Ricky are together again in God's kingdom, along with Eric, Lauren, and their precious baby. They will never hurt again and they will all be waiting for each and every one of you to join them in Heaven one day. God bless you all.

Gone but never forgotten is what you will be. To see the lives of all the people you've touched is amazing. You and Ricky were definitely a blessing in disguise. God has truly blessed your parents! Even though it'll be tough for them and all of us to deal with this, we truly were blessed to have you a part of our lives. You've now taken your place in Heaven where you belong.

My name is Elias Diaz I had the pleasure of being your son' Computer Maintenance teacher here at Highlands HS. I have never forgotten Pedro in all these years. I will always remember him as one of the happiest people I've ever known. I can tell you all his classmates back then just loved his love for life and now that we have lost him I can also tell you those very same classmates as well as myself have a great sense of loss & sorrow. I can only say that I take comfort in knowing that I know for a fact that your son is with our Lord and has been since the very moment his life came to an end. I'm going to be looking through all my records to see if I can find all the photos I once had of him.......I will be more than happy to give you all copies of them if you want them once I locate them. You can contact me at 789-4080. Again I'm so sorry for your loss. We shall never forget him.
