Petra Ochoa Obituary
Petra Dominguez Ochoa, born July 16, 1925, went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2012, at the blessed age of 87. Mrs. Ochoa was the matriarch of five generations of the Ochoa family and just recently celebrated "70" blessed years of marriage to her loving and loyal husband Johnnie Joe "Rocco" Ochoa, Sr. She is preceded in death by her mother Celia Gonzales Martinez, sister Gloria Bravo, aunt Anita Avila and Juana Castillo, son-in-law Jaime Garza and nephew Oscar Lawson. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Johnnie Joe Ochoa, Jr. (Pearl), Robert Ochoa (Melinda), Gloria Jean Ochoa Garza, David Ochoa, Sr., Lee Ochoa, Sr. (Gracie), Barbara Ann Fuentes (Tom), Betty Jo Ochoa and Chris Ochoa,Sr., as well as 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-granchildren and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will begin Monday, September 10, 2012 at 1pm with a rosary to be recited Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 7pm. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 12pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.

I was saddened to hear about your Mom's passing. Needless to say, my most deepest condolences go out to you, your Dad and all of the Ochoa family. I will always remember "Pete" fondly and shall miss her. But, as you've heard it said before, and it's true, one day we'll see her again.
