Randall Wayne "Randy" Tucker, 69, of Odessa, TX, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 15, 2021, at home in San Antonio, TX. The youngest of three, Randy was born on May 10, 1952, to Harold and Mary Tucker. Living all his childhood in Odessa, TX, Randy would graduate from Permian High School in 1970. After attending some college outside of west Texas, Randy returned to Odessa to work for, and eventually preside over the family business – Dixie Electric. Under his stewardship, Dixie grew to over six-hundred fifty employees, operating out of nine locations across the United States. Randy met Kim (Mork) Tucker of Antigo, Wisconsin, marrying June 19, 1982; and having two children. Randy faithfully served at First Methodist Church, The Bridge, and Crossroads Church of Odessa Tx, and later attended NorthRock Church of San Antonio TX. An avid football fan, Randy could be found under the Friday Night Lights, cheering on his beloved Permian Panthers to victory. Later in life Randy realized his dream of the acquisition of Dallas Cowboys season tickets; an activity he enjoyed with his wife. He loved spending quality time with family at the lake in San Angelo, and Horseshoe Bay. Many Saturdays Randy could be found in a movie theatre; usually with children and grandchildren. I vaguely remember Randy. I was a friend of his older brother Gary and sister Cindy. Anytime I encountered Randy he appeared to be on a mission of some sort-on his way out or on his way to his room. He was always polite and smiling but rather quiet around us. Kind of like his dad, Harold, who always said hello to us but didn´t engage much whereas his mother, Mary, always asked us what we were up to and how our families were doing.
I know his family was close. I am so saddened to read of his demise. My thoughts and prayers are with his wonderful family.

I met Randy back in the mid fifties having lived across the street from them on Cimarron. He was always someone to look up to and good to talk to whenever we happened to cross paths. He was a good man and friend that will be missed.
