Raquel Gonzalez Obituary

Mrs. Raquel (Rachel) V. Gonzalez, age 54, of San Antonio, entered into rest Wednesday, October 13, 2004. Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Luz Villanueva. She is survived by her husband, Tim Gonzalez; children, Roger Gonzalez and wife Rebecca, Ann M. Rodriguez and husband Andres, Monica Garcia and husband Steven, Chastity Gonzalez; brothers and sisters, Juan Villanueva and wife Laura, Ralph Villanueva, Gilbert Villanueva and wife Mary, Lupe Martinez, Eva Vasquez and husband Felipe; grandchildren, Andres Jr., Nathan and Briana Rodriguez, Isaac, Angel and Aliyah Gonzalez, Steven Gerard and David Samuel Garcia; mother-in-law, Eustolia Gonzalez; very special friends, Jesse and Hopie Martinez of Lynwood, CA; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of the Cancer Therapy and Research Center, especially Dr. Monica Mita and Eve Martinez, and the staff of Odyssey Hospice.
