Richard Herrera Obituary

Richard Herrera, Jr. born August 15, 1956, in San Antonio, TX, went to be with Our Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2005, in Edinburg, TX. He was a loving and caring Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Father and Grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Mary Herrera; sons, Richard B. and wife, Mary Herrera, Robert A. and wife, Juliet Herrera; grandchildren, Clarissa, Julian, Ava and Sophia Herrera; parents, Richard Sr. and Angelina Herrera; brothers and sister, Raul and wife, Leslie Herrera, Cynthia and Husband, Felipe Garza, Ray Herrera and Roger and wife, Isabel Herrera; nieces, Theresa, Cecilia and Jessica Garza; nephews, Jason and Ryan Herrera. Richard proudly served his country in the US Army, most recently employed as a Local Veteran Employment Representative in Edinburg, TX. All knew him as a loving and giving person with a great admiration for his fellow Veterans. SERVICES Visitation will be Monday, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. A mass of Catholic Burial will be Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 8:30 AM at St. Leo's Catholic Church with Father Enda McKenna and Father Toby Guerrero as celebrants. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South. For personal acknowledgement you may sign the guest book at www.missionparks.com in the obituary section. Mission Park Funeral Chapels South.
