Rita Branca Obituary

Rita Marie Greco Branca was born on July 17, 1917 in Cosala Bruzio, Concenza, Italy, and passed away on June 27, 2003 in San Antonio, TX. Rita was a member of St. Francis di Paola Catholic Church and was also active in numerous charities. She was President of the Altar and Rosary Society for two years and President of Ladies of Unico. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Paul Branca and his wife Carol; two grandsons, Kenneth and Christopher Branca; two nieces she helped to raise, Judy Lopez and Joyce Chavez; brother, Sam Greco and his wife Kathy Greco and their children, Darrell, Sharon, Diane and Brenda and her great-nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis di Paola Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 2. Pallbearers: Will Bowerman, Ralph Chavez, Darrell Greco, Joe Pirra, Anthony Pierulla and Roland Lopez.
