Hoping these Native American words will comfort all the Perrines in this time of loss. We will all sorely miss Mr. Perrine, but will hold him dear in our hearts and memories, and know that he is with us in all the earth's beauty:
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

It was a pleasure calling you our friend. Carl enjoys remembering going to UT sports events, and seemingly endless LCV Board meetings and preparing for them.
Our sympathies to Dolores and the family.

Our deepest sympathy go out to your family at this time. What a blessing to know that he was able to continue to touch lives in the many countries that he visited and people that he ministered to.
