Rogelio Salazar Obituary
Rogelio Gloria Salazar, 57, of Sanderson, Texas, died May 17, 2009. He was born September 2, 1951 to Elvira Gloria and Natividad Salazar in San Antonio, Texas. He married Amparo Olivares on July 7, 2000 in Bexar County. Rosary will be held Thursday May 21, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Sanderson. Service will be Friday May 22, 2009 at 11:00 at St. James Catholic Church in Sanderson, Texas. Interment will be at Santa Rita Cemetery in Sanderson, Texas. Officiating by Deacon Reuben Reyes. He is survived by his wife Amparo Salazar of Sanderson, Texas, son, Roger I. Salazar of San Antonio, Texas, sisters (3) Virginia Fuentes, Mary G. Garcia, Bertha Gayar all of San Antonio, Texas. brother Natividad G. Salazar Jr. of San Antonio, Texas. Preceded in death by: parents, Natividad and Elvira Salazar and brother Gilbert Salazar.

My deepest condolences to the Salazar family. I am related to the Gloria family through my mother. Her name was Teresa Rosales Padilla and she, Esperanza, Isidra, Lupe and Elvira were first cousins. My mother spoke very often of their youth and always with lots of love. The last time I saw Esperanza and Queta was about 3 or 4 years ago. Again my deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you.
