Roger Casanova Obituary

Roger Anthony Casanova, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2008, at the age of 49. He was born on July 30, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacobo and Mary Casanova. He is survived by his son, Bernie Jacob A. & Bridgette Casanova; daughter, Misty A. Casanova & Francisco Rosas Jr., and their mother, Diana Estrada; grandchildren, Cassandra and Gabriel Rosas, Jacob and Anthony Casanova; sister, Dollie Cortinas; brothers, Jacobo & Karen Casanova, Ronnie & Carolyn Casanova, Ray & Barbara Casanova and Richard Casanova; niece, Christina & Joe Garcia; nephew, Steve Cortinas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, 2008, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2008, for an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 700 Dewhurst. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery II. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
