I realize I'm doing this about a year later but I didn't know Roger had passed away. I knew Roger from Loma Park Elementary and then was in a couple of classes with in at JFK. We graduated the same year,1967. We weren't really friends but I admired Roger. He was a very bright guy. I remember him in school as being very intelligent and very intense. His brother Victor was a year behind us. Victor later went on to become a reporter and correspondent with network news. I wish Roger and I could've become friends but we always walked in different circles. Rest in peace.

Solis Families,
My deepest sympathy. My love and thoughts are always with you. He is always with you, in your heart and memories. He is watching over you always.
Roger was a dear friend since first grade. Have so many wonderful memories of him and he is always in my heart. As we grew up together from the age of 6 to adulthood, we would always run into each other. You were and always will be a 'great friend' and someday we will see each other again.
You touched many lives. Will miss you smile and your humor. Luv ya my friend.
Always, Vicky

Roger, it was great knowing and being with you when I was designing costumes with you guys. There was never a dull moment with you especially when we had the studio parties as we all danced the night away. We will miss you very much.

Roger was a PRINCE. A quiet man, humble and supportive to all he met, but he was also fun-loving and very intelligent, plus a GREAT DANCER! He leaves a big hole in all our hearts, but many happy memories, too. Vaya Con Dios, Roger!
