Ronald Bridges Obituary
January 11, 1937 - September 19, 2025
Ronald David (Barajas) Bridges, age 88, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025 at his home in San Antonio.
Ron graduated from Jefferson High School in 1954. He was an avid wine enthusiast, enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with his family. He was also an accomplished singer who held lead roles in numerous operas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Loraine Barajas; sisters, Joanne Kilborn and Jan McDaniel. Ronald is survived by his wife, Dee Ann Bridges (Howard); children, Joseph Bridges, Donna Buntyn (Mark); and grandchildren, Grace Chapman, Max Chapman, Esther McMahan (Nate).
A visitation will be held at Porter Loring North Sunday, October 5 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Funeral Service at Concordia Lutheran Church Monday October 6 10:00 am.
Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North, at 1:00 pm.

I just adored Mr. Bridges. He was one of our favorite customers at heb! He always took time to sing for us and just a friendly chat. He alwsys talked about his family and his housekeeper. Lots of beautiful memories and I´m so thankful to know Mr. Bridges! Sending love to his family.

Ron and I were friends from when I used Bridges Engraving for commercial building signage many years ago. Went far from just business - we had many discussions about many things, including wine!
