Hi Mrs.Rose...

I'm Alyssa's friend Leslie...You've never met me but...I would have loved to have met you. I mean...Your daughter is a really good friend of mine. And it would have made me happy to meet the women that gave birth to her =]. I also want to thank you for that...Without Alyssa I would have gone completely crazy. You see, she helps me with most of my problems, and I feel better after I tell her. She makes me feel better and relieved. You must be proud =] Well...You're in heaven now. You can sleep on the clouds...=] It must be nice. Oh I just want to let you know...Alyssa loves and misses you. Bye, Mrs.Rose.

Well Mom. It's the start of a new year, 2008. I took Adam w/ me to hang out w/ Alyssa & Gregory @ Tia Anna's house. I'm glad we were there together. You were the 1st person I wished a New Year to. And, You were on everyone's mind that night. I kept picturing you being there...so happy w/ the family, like you always were.
It's been difficult just dealing w/ everyday life knowing that you're gone. I can't shake the empty feeling off. I miss you too muches! :(
The family has been extremely helpful though. I know they'll help by doing whatever they can for us.
Well, hope you're resting peacefully.
...til another day.
~XO~
I love you, Mom.

We are deeply saddened for the loss of a daughter, a sister, a life partner, a best friend, and especially a mother. Rose was a strong woman, a woman who wanted to live longer for her and her family. She struggled through life and could only take so much over time. May she rest in peace and look over her family. You all will meet again. Take care, we love you!

Rose
I am saddened and stunned that you have lost your battle but not without putting up a good fight since July of 1994 when you were first diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

Thank you Rose for your permission to recognize your fight to survive and allowed me to post your story on the tribute wall of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in April of 2000. It was an honor that you, being such a private person, had trusted me and allowed me to share your story so publicly.

I still believe your strong will to survive, faith in God and the support of family and friends saw you through the many and difficult treatments to include radiation, chemotherapy and stem cell transplant to fight the recurrences and metastisized episodes.

Rose you truly had the heart of a survivor.

Thank you for the priviledge to have been a part of your life.
Good bye Rose until another time.

I would like to offer my condolences to your family.

Mom,
It's just been a few days since you've passed & I still can't believe you're not here anymore. I know you are no longer in pain & that you're in a better place now. I just miss you so much. You were like a best friend to me- I could talk to you about anything. It's gonna be hard w/out you. I'm doing my best to stay strong & positive cause I know that's what you want.

I wonder what you were thinking of during your last days here w/ us. Did you think there was a party going on?...cause your family's pretty loud. j/k :) There was nothing but love in the room you were in.
It was so hard to see you like that cause I know you did not want to go...yet. If you were able to speak, what would you have said to me??

I'm saddended even more cause the day is coming when I'll see you for 1 last time... until we meet again.
I love you, Mom. (I know ur saying "I love you more" back to me)
Well, you'll forever live in my heart.
I have a favor, mama... now that you're a beautiful angel, can you please watch over us (me, Gregory, Alyssa, & Dad)...?

p.s. I promise I'll do my best to watch & take care of Alyssa : )

we miss you
