ROY GARCIA Obituary

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that our beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend Roy Garcia entered eternal rest on September 23, 2021 at the age of 65. Roy was born in Karnes City, Texas to Regino and Margarita Garcia. He lived and grew up on the South Side of San Antonio and graduated from South San High School.

Roy was a dedicated employee of H-E-B Grocery Company for 48 years and a top store leader at S.A.#9 on S.W. Military Drive for sixteen years. He was well respected and loved by his partners and community.

He was married to his wife Nora for 33 years. He was a loving husband, great father, and a fun and caring grandfather. Everyone loved listening to his stories, and he was always the life of the party. He loved spending his time off at "The Ranch". So many family and friends enjoyed Easter celebrations and gatherings there. He enriched the lives of countless friends and family and was loved by many. Roy touched many lives with his generosity, humor, and wit. He will truly be missed.
