Ruby Hien Obituary
Ruby S. Hien born January 5, 1912 in San Antonio, Texas passed away February 13, 2010 at the age of 98. Mrs. Hien was a charter member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and a retiree of USAA. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry E. Hien, Jr. in 2003; and her brother and sister-in-law, Otto and Audrey Boezinger. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Robberson and husband Rev. Phillip Gary Robberson of Rockport, TX; sister, Agnes Ashby and husband Donald of San Antonio; brother, Leland Boezinger and wife Dottie of Helotes; 2 grandchildren; Jennifer Broussard and husband Gordon of Bastrop, TX, and Kimberly Robberson of Rockport; 4 great-grandchildren: Amber, Summer and Jonathan Eason, and Nicki Carpenter, all of Bastrop, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, February 15 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church or the Lighthouse for the Blind.
