Samuel Der Tatevasion passed away at 96 years young on January 22, 2021.
His career spanned over 25 years in the Air Force and 20 years at Kelly Air Force Base in Maintenance Directorate. Sam called Katy home for the past decade and a half.
He is survived by his two children, Susan and Thomas (Regina); five grandchildren, Dominic (Allison), Lora (Paul), Stephen, Andrew, and Anthony; five great-granddaughters, Biella, Anna, twins Evelyn and Julia, and Olivia; great-grandson, Michael; and brother, Albert.
He loved his family and was greatly loved in return.
Samuel will be interred at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with his best friend, his wife Margaret.
