Steven Ince Obituary
Steven Curt Ince, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 24, 2003, at the age of 46. Born in Amarillo, TX, Steven, resided in San Antonio for 45 years. He graduated from Mac Arthur High School where he was an All-American swimmer. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in 1979, and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Steven worked for Ince Distributing, Inc. for 24 years as a director and vice president and was in charge of supply purchasing and manager of operations. Steven and his family traveled extensively around the world. Some of their favorite trips were to Hawaii, Ruidoso, and the Bahamas. He loved water sports, particularly boating and jet skis, but was happiest at home with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 18 years, Nancy Lynn; and their three children, Beverly Ann, age 14, Jennifer Lynn, age 12, and Steven Curt, Jr., age 7; parents Raymond and Loyce Ince; brother Ray Ince, Jr., and wife Marcie Tallman Ince; sisters, Cynthia Ince and Nancy Ince; mother-in-law, Dee Hollar, all of San Antonio; sister-in-law, Peggy Hollar Little and husband David Little of Austin; brother-in-law, Rick Hollar of DeRidder of Louisiana; sister-in-law, Debra Hollar of Austin; nephews, Raymond Bert Ince, III, Grayson Ray Little; nieces, Carrie Louise Ince, Nichole Leigh Mangold, Samantha Jean Mangold and Christiana Cole Little, Ashley Renee Hollar, Laura Leigh Hollar, Melanie Marie Hollar, and Julia Cole Hollar. Steven was an extremely loving husband and father. He enjoyed watching his children's sporting competitions. A sweet person, he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and co-workers. SERVICE MONDAY 2:00 P.M. UNIVERSITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WITH A RECEPTION FOLLOWING AT THE WESLEY ROOM the Rev. Jason Adams, and the Rev. Sue White officiating. Interment will follow in Mission Park Burial North at 4:30 P.M.
