Sylvia Rodriguez Obituary
Sylvia Ann Rodriguez, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt passed away August 25, 2013 at the age of 53. She was born on January 2, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father Encarnacion Rodriguez. She is survived by her mother, Blanca Rodriguez, sisters, Lupe Olivares and Yolanda Maloney, brother, Carlos Rodriguez, sister in law, Phyllis Rodriguez, aunt and godmother Estella Cardona, numerous nieces,
nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Her family would like to thank her doctors, Dr. C. Truitt and Dr. M. Scanlan for their wonderful care. Sylvia was a bright light of love to her entire family. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 and Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Ortiz Mortuary. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 to celebrate a 11:30 am. Mass at
Holy Rosary Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery.
