Teresa Smith, 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in her home in San Antonio of natural causes. She was born to Manuel Ruiz Ibanez and Maria Ruiz on June 7, 1941. Teresa was a loving wife and mother, and well loved by family and friends. She dedicated her life to the pursuit of knowledge while positively impacting the countless lives of children through education. She is survived by her husband, Eliseo Smith III; her sisters, Yolanda Molina and Rosie (Leo) Walter; her brother, Gilbert (Linda) Ruiz; her sons, David P. (Rhonda) Smith and Daniel M. Smith; her daughter, Cynthia D. Rosales; her grandchildren, Deanna Rosales, Emilio Ramirez, Felipe Ramirez and Adrian Barusch; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. The family will receive guests from 6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Porter Loring Mortuary with liturgical services beginning at 7pm.
