Terry Allen Tschirhart
April 4, 1958 - November 2, 2025
Terry Allen Tschirhart passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 67. Terry was born in Lawton, Ok on April 4, 1958. Terry graduated from Churchill High School in 1976. Terry spent 2 years in Spain working for a bullet-proofing car company before returning to the United States, where he built careers in the trucking and the insurance industries. He later discovered his true passion in the sign business, enjoying a long and successful career designing signs for businesses throughout Texas. An avid outdoorsman, Terry loved hunting, fishing, and Clay target sports. He devoted many years to serving the youth of South Texas through his volunteer work. Terry was a Life Member and Director Emeritus of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo where he served on the Auction and Raffle Committees to help raise scholarship funds for the youth. Terry also volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America on the Clay Sports Committee. Terry will be remembered for his generosity, kind heart, and his pride in his Alsatian heritage. He never met a stranger and found joy in helping others.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Lynroe and Mary Catherine (Kotsy) Tschirhart, brother Carl Tschirhart and Grandparents Wilfred and Mary (Maudie) Tschirhart, Bernard and Mary Rihn. Terry was survived by the love of his life Brenda Guenther, Daniel (Antoinette) Guenther, Amanda Guenther, Stephanie Tschirhart. Siblings Chris Tschirhart (Vonnie) and Shelly Tschirhart, Nephews: Dalton, Paul and Brian Tschirhart, Grandchildren: Odette, Savannah and Astrid Guenther. Aunt Eva Ruffin, Uncle Robert Hargroder, Aunt/Uncle Annette and Bobby Tschirhart along with numerous cousins.
The Rosary will be recited at 9: 15 am on Friday November 21st at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 700 Dewhurst, San Antonio with the Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 am.
