Tommy was the greatest friend around. What else can i say, he could never compare to anyone. He made people laugh, & he made people feel loved. Mrs Farley you raised a great guy. As they say the good die young, but we don't see it as that. All we do is wonder why, but questions are left unanswered. He was my brother, & in all actuality me & him were closer then me & MY real brother. Tommy's watching down on us, i see rain as his tears of joy & sadness<3 (:

Lucy, Mrs Mauricio and family. When my mother told me what happened I just couldnt believe someone so beautiful and so young would be taken away. I am so very sorry. I cannot imagine the pain. You all are in my thoughts and prayer. I know it will be so very hard. I pray God will give you strength. Ill share with you what I remember about Tommy. I remember him stopping by my mom and dads house on his way home from elementary school. I thought it was kind of funny. There were no children at our home. Only adults. He was actually stopping by to say hello. He was so cute. I knew he came from a single Parent home. I thought he was a very lucky boy to have such a loving and beautiful mother and grandmother. I hadnt seen him for many yrs. The last time I saw Tommy was at my parents 5oth anniversary. I thought my goodness Tommy has grown into a beutiful young man. He was always polite. And he gave me a hug like he remembered me. Again I thought it to be amazing that a young man to accompany his mother and grandmother to a "boring" 50th anniversary. But he was there. And we were very happy to have you all there. That was the last time I saw Tommy. I know you realize God has a plan and reason for all he allows to happen in our lives. I dont understand but I trust. Again, please know that I have been thinking and praying for all of you. The only thing that helps me is to know that Tommy is in a much better place than here. Im sure his grandfather was right there with him. I love you all.

Tommy, The one thing I will always remember about you is the way you huged me.I know that sounds alittle funny but you had this way about putting your arms around me and making me feel sooo loved and I hope one day I get to have that back again!! You will always be my model and you will always be LOVED, its funny because if you think about it all the good ones die young and you my baby boy are one of the good ones!! I Love You with all my Heart and Soul and untill the day I die I will make sure your mom is ok and our grandmother is taking care of.. May your soul rest in pest Thomas Mauricio Farley... ( Cuz )

Tommy I just want to say that it was a pleasure knowing you. I met you when you were 15 years old at church and even though you are a lot younger than I am you made an inpact in my life. You tought me how to have fun with life and that I did not need to be so seriouse all of the time. You will be missed but never forgotten. To Mr. and Miss farley I am very sorry about your loss. We will all meet up again one day. You were an angel that God let us borrow for twenty years, and it was time for you to go back up to hevan and to do greater things. Adios

Lucy,Although I only met Tommy a few times when he was younger I felt like I knew him well. He was so blessed to be loved and cared for by an incredibly dedicated and wonderful mother. The unconditional love of a mother to her child is the purest love of all, and I believe he knew well of that love. Taylor, Jay and I pray that Tommy is at peace and that your strength will carry you through this difficult time. We are all thinking of you. Please remember you have a lot of friends who love and support you. We are here for you.

Mr & Mrs Farley I'm so sorry of your loss. Tommy touched eveyones lives. he came into this world crying and left with all of us crying. He was a good friend and was like a big brother to me. Him and Zee would give me lectures, and he looked out for me. I'm going to miss him so much.. But I know from seeing him yesterday, hes in a better place. Hes an angel.. :) I have your family in my prayers.

Tommy,
We only got to hangout when i came to visit and was with Holden. But, those times that we did, YOU left the biggest and greatest impression on me and my life. When I knew i was coming down, i would always ask holden if Tommy was going to be coming with us, haha sounds kind of weird, but you were the funniest kid I have ever met. I'm coming down in two weeks, and I greatly WISH that you could be there so we could chill. But, I know that you WILL ALWAYS BE WITH Me... and EVERYONE.
Tommy, you were loved by so many people!
I can truthfully say, in my 16 yrs of life. You are the only one that has truly touched my life in someway!
Your going to be greatly missed brotha! I'll see you soon amigo!

Lucy, I am at a loss for words. I cannot possibly imagine what you are going through. BUT I know God will carry you during times of weakness and He will embrace you during times of loneliness. I had not seen Tommy since he was a little boy and to see his picture in the paper looking so handsome and strong makes it so much harder to believe he is gone. His death will encourage everyone to realize we cannot take life for granted. For myself, having to sons, it will be a constant reminder to appreciate all that boys bring into a mother's life and to take it with stride and pride. I hope it is of some comfort in knowing how much your son was loved by so many people.

As a teacher, I can frankly say that many students come and go in my life and it is always the good news I crave when I hear of the wonderful things they go on to do in life. It leaves me with a profound sense of loss when I hear of a death and to hear of the loss of someone like Tommy wrenches my heart. I remember a few times that Tommy tried to get under my skin, but I found that I could never dislike him. He was in my advisory group and my junior English class at Taft. I can remember his excitement over getting his driver's license and struggles over various things. He had a ready smile that was infectious. Tommy definitely made a mark in my memory and I am saddened to hear of this terrible loss. I will remember him fondly.

Lucy,
I was so sad to hear of Tommys'death. My son Juan and Tommy were more like brothers. There was a period of time that they were inseparable. Both are only children of single moms'so I can only imagine your pain. Tommy drove Juan to and from school daily when he got his truck, and I never thanked him for that. I can't remember how many times I picked up Juan at your home, or how many times they rode the bus home together, went to the movies, went out to eat, went to the football games etc.
I will remember him, and miss him always because he was an important part in my sons' life.Tommy will be missed and remembered forever by my son.

June 12, 2007

I was Tommy's mentor for about 4 years while he was at Galm Elementary. I remember going by every single Wednesday afternoon during lunch and always having a great time with him. Whether we talked, played basketball, or read a book or two, we always had a great time. His insight on life and what he wanted to do with himself always had me leaving the school with a smile. As young as he was back then, it wasn't until he moved on to Junior High that I realized how much he had actually mentored me. I'm going to miss my buddy.

Lucy,

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very wonderful young man who touched so many people. My heart aches for you in your time of loss. There is no love and bond like the mother and son bond.

God gave you a blessing in Tommy. God had a purpose for Tommy's life... before he was born, while he was here on earth and now that he is gone. Please remind all that knew him and loved him to continue to make his life shine and mean something. May God hold you in His embrace and comfort you while you grieve, sustain you through the days ahead and give you peace in knowing that He has him in His embrace now and forever.

My Jacob and Kirsten are deeply saddened by his passing. They have such fond memories of the reunions we attended. Especially Jacob, they had made plans to hang out together when we were planning to come next year. They mourn his passing and will greatly miss him.

I love you Lucy and I pray that God grant you peace during this difficult time.
