Tom Talley
July 31, 1936 - April 2, 2023
Tom Talley, age 86 of New Braunfels, TX passed away on April 2, 2023. Tom was born in San Antonio, TX to Nora and George Talley July 31, 1936.
Tom Graduated from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio in 1955. After serving 4 years in the U S Marine Corp, Tom was employed with San Antonio Light Newspaper, now the Express News. After 32 years in advertising at the SA Light, he retired as Advertising Manager.
Tom had many interests and hobbies. He was a Mason achieving the level of 32nd Degree. Tom enjoyed golfing, hunting, antique cars, and antique clocks. Tom also loved spending time at their ranch in Brackettville, TX.
Survivors include his loving wife, Linda, of 42 years, friends, and neighbors.
Appreciation for the wonderful care he was given at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, Kirkwood Manor, and Hope Hospice all of New Braunfels. Also, his caregivers Mary, Pat, Elvia, and Rebecca that helped Tom live a comfortable life at home.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Monday, April 10, 2023. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Brackettville Masonic Cemetery in Kinney County.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 611 N. Walnut Avenue, New Braunfels, TX, 78130. You may sign the online guestbook at www.missionparks.com.
