December 31, 1943 - August 24, 2025
Vicki Hill Lerfald, of San Antonio, passed away on August 24th, 2025. She was born on December 31, 1943 in Brady, TX to the late Priscilla "Pat" and Joseph G. Hill Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ralph Dwayne Hill. She is survived by her brother Joseph G. Hill Jr, her son, Charles R. Lerfald (Dr. Laurie Harrier), her daughter, Melinda L. (Lerfald) Hansen (Duane E. Hansen), her granddaughter, Marissa J. (Hansen) O'Donnell (Grady M. O'Donnell), her grandchildren Orrin O'Donnell and Finley O'Donnell, her nieces, and three grandnieces.
She graduated as Valedictorian from Sam Houston High School in 1961 and went on to graduate from Incarnate Word College in 1965 with a B.S. degree in Mathematics, cum laude. She served most of her career sharing her knowledge of mathematics as a senior high school teacher for the Plano Independent School District.
She was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was strong in her faith, and was generous and kind, and helped others in need. She was a talented watercolor artist who loved to travel, sing, read books, watch movies and enjoyed the theatre.
A funeral mass is being held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, September 23rd at St Benedict's Catholic Church, 4535 Lord Rd, in San Antonio and will be followed by a small Celebration of Life gathering in the Church Hall.
