Goland, 'Crazy George' BONSALL -- "Crazy George" Goland was born in Watts, CA on February 22, 1927 to Alex and Blythe Goland. He enlisted in the United States Navy at age 17, serving his country from April 1944 through May 1946. He became a Los Angeles Police Officer in June 1948 and spent the majority of his career as a Motor Officer. He retired as a Detective in December 1977. In March 1955, he was raised a Master Mason in Los Angeles Harbor Lodge #332 where he was active until his death on March 26, 2015 in Bonsall, CA. "Crazy George" had an illustrious career with the Masons, Shriners and Jesters. He was a man of many hats and gave of his time. He was the founder and President Emeritus of the infamous Motorcycle organization known as "Jesters on Wheels." "Crazy George" rode a documented 2.6 Million Miles on Harley- Davidson Motorcycles during his lifetime and has ridden the entire North American Continent. He is survived by his wife, Susan; children: Greg Goland, Kathy Carmen and Chuck Hannacher; and grandchildren, Bryan Goland, Kristopher Goland, Krista Schlappatha and Sky McGurr; as well as four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services and burial will be held on April 2, 2015, at 11 am at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S.
