Adam Weiner Obituary

WEINER, ADAM PATRICK Adam Patrick Weiner, 26, passed away suddenly at his home in Rancho Santa Fe, California on September 11, 2008. Born in San Diego on March 25, 1982, Adam was an honors graduate of Torrey Pines High School Class of 2000. Adam graduated from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He worked for several years in the financial industry in both Orange and San Diego County. Adam was an exceptional student and gifted athlete who loved Trojan football and the outdoors, especially fishing and hiking. He was a loving son and brother and loyal friend. Always cheerful and happy, he was quick to make friends and help without being asked. Family and friends will remember Adam's warmth and compassion, and will cherish the unique joy he brought to each of their lives. He will be loved and missed by all whose lives he touched. He is survived by his parents Gerald and Debora Weiner, his sisters Shannon and Katie, brother Eric, grandmothers Maxine Poore of La Mesa and Esther Weiner of Baltimore, Maryland. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 14th, at the El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Adam Weiner Memorial Fund, Torrey Pines High School Dollars for Scholars, 3525 Del Mar Heights #129, San Diego, CA 92130. Dear Gerry, Debbie, Shannon, Katie and Aunt Esther,

Our heartfelt sympathy and love are sent your way. Although, we never met Adam, personally, I was always kept informed of every member of your family by Aunt Esther. Words cannot begin to express the consolation in our hearts for you. I'm sure this time is unbearable, but from reading these previous pages, it seems like Adam was an amazing person. Mark joins me in sending you all of our love and prayers for your terrible loss and that you will soon find comfort. We love you all. I'm sure your Dad, Gerry; and my parents Aunt Ethel & Uncle Bunky will take good care of Adam for you until you meet again.
Lots of Love,
Susie (Cooper) and Mark Stone

Dear Shannon,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know you have been surrounded by loving friends and family, but please let me know if there is anything I can do. I know that as the days go by, it often gets more difficult and it seems as if others have just gone on with their lives. May God's blessings sustain you and help you to focus on the good times that you shared with Adam.

Fondly,
Patty

Adam was the closest thing that I had to a best friend in elementary school and junior high. While we had not been as close of late, I was devastated to hear of Adam’s passing. Adam was the nicest guy you’d ever meet who always had a knack for brightening up any room with his presence. I have never met a more beautiful family than the Weiner family, and I cannot imagine what they must be going through. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to them.

I loved Adam like a brother.

From the football field and the gym, to just hanging out after school and weekends. I spent most of my formative years with Adam and will always cherish my fond memories of him.

To the Weiner Faimily,
I met Adam in August when we started working together. We were in the same training class! I found him to be so smart and alot of fun. My heart is broken because he was apart of our little family her at work. We both loved our Trojans! and I attended the game againt Ohio State and I gave a big "SHOUT OUT" to him as I cheer them to victory in his name! May God bless your entire family and remember...Prayers will help in the healing

Dear Weiner Family,

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Though it's been many many years since Adam and I were two blonde babies on Sierra Vista Lane, my grandma and mom still affectionately refer to him as my first boyfriend, and knowing he is gone makes the world feel incomplete. I cannot imagine how hard this must be for your family, but I hope there is at least some small comfort knowing that he is in good hands up in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, and I carry Adam with me in my prayers and in my heart.

Dear Weiner Family,
There are no words powerful enough to ease your sorrow as you grieve for your beloved Adam. Yet, our inadequate words are offered clumsily as we grieve with you. At Adam’s service today, your family’s strength, love, and respect for one another manifested itself in a moving tribute and celebration of his life. You are a strong family. You are a blessing to everyone who meets you. Adam was truly blessed to have been cradled in the loving arms of your family for his entire life.
Love,
The Wright Family
